Two Tucker pieces, including: porcelain water pitcher, c. 1830, fluted urn shape with rose and leaf decoration, lyre handle, gilt edges, base with impressed initial "C", 8 1/2" h., firing cracks to handle, some loss to gilt, and minor damages; and a cake plate, shaped square bowl with central grisaille landscape panel, 8 3/4" h. 8 3/4" w., both pieces with wear consistent with age and use including minor surface wear. [PROVENANCE: Consigner purchased the pitcher in 1996 from Friedmore Fine Arts for $2,300]. [PROVENANCE: Consigner purchased the plate in 1994 from Rufus Foshee Antiques for $875, copies of provenance available to successful bidder].
