Utagawa Hiroshige (aka Ando Hiroshige, Japanese 1797-1858), six color woodblock prints: "Descending Geese at Katada" (Katada rakugan), from "Eight Views of Omi", originally published ca. 1834-35 by Yamamatoyo Heikichi (Eikyudo), this impression a later state with fewer boats in the background and other small alterations, fading, some toning, some foxing, matted and framed under glass, ss: (oban yoko-e); two woodblock prints from the series "53 Stations of the Tokaido", including: "Hamamatsu: Winter Scene, recarved, probably a Meiji era impression, stain near center, some scattered foxing; and "Oiso: Tora's Rain", 19th C., as is, both matted and framed under glass; and three prints after Hiroshige, including: two 20th C. recarvings of works from the Hoeido edition of the "53 Stations of the Tokaido," stations include "Fujisawa" and "Arai;" and a recarved, miniature version of "Kinryuzan Temple, Asakusa" from the 100 Famous Views of Edo, published early 20th C., each framed under glass, the first also matted, none examined out of frame.
