Wayne Morrell (Massachusetts, 1923-2013), four oval oil on masonite landscapes, each representing a New England state, one signed, all attributed, including: "Connecticut", harbor scene of what appears to be Mystic Seaport with the Charles W. Morgan at dock; "New Hampshire", mountain landscape of the Old Man in the Mountain, impressionistic depiction; "Maine", lake scene of a man fishing with some houses in the background; and a town street scene with church having steeple; all in as found condition with notable loss to paint and masonite; each approximately 27 1/2" h. x 44" w. [PROVENANCE: All four paintings states were displayed in the Camp Kemosabe Dining Hall in Woodstock, CT. from the 1960s until the camp closed in 1977. Camp Kemosabe was the New Britain area Boy Scouts Camp. The camp's name was changed to Camp Nahaco in 1970.]
