Wedgewood, etc., two 19th C. ceramic profiles in frame, details include: Wedgwood jasperware plaque commemorating John Jervis, 1st Earl of St Vincent, c. 1820, the Earl of St Vincent GCB, PC (9 January 1735 – 13 March 1823) was an admiral in the Royal Navy served during the Seven Years' War, American War of Independence, French Revolutionary War and the Napoleonic Wars, he is best known for his victory at the 1797 Battle of Cape Saint Vincent, from which he earned his titles, oval plaque impressed 'WEDGWOOD' and 'VINCENT' verso, contained in older frame with damages and label verso which reads "Wm. H PLUMMER & Co., Ltd./ NEW YORK CITY/ ANTIQUE DEPT." along with inscription, plaque has wear consistent with age and use including staining from frame around perimeter, light wear to high areas, etc., not examined out of frame, plaque approximately 4" h.; along with second profile of an unknown gentleman, mounted on red felt ground, contained in wooden frame with incised decoration, backed in Italian marbled paper, wear consistent with age including staining of background fabric and minor pitting to face, etc., not examined out of frame, frame size: 4 5/8" h.
