Wedgwood "New England Industries" series dinner plates after wood engravings by Clare Leighton (British-American, 1898-1989), c. 1952, eleven pieces: "Tobacco Growing" (2); "Grist Milling" (2); "Cranberrying" (2); "Logging" (1), large area of loss left edge; "Ice Cutting" (1); "Farming" (1); "Codfishing" (1), isolated areas of discoloration; and "Marble Quarrying" (1), each with facsimile signature and company-issued description verso, expected wear including some scratches and light crazing to underside one base, 10 1/2" dia.
