William Curtis (1749- 1799), two hand-colored engravings of grasses from Flora Londinensis, vol. 1: t. 5 (1775-1777), framed: "Bromus Mottis- Brome Grass", depicts large strand of grass with seeds at top, dissected parts near bottom, signed "Kelburn" LR; and "Aira Aquatica", similar grass with flowering top, both with toning, foxing and map burn, not examined out of frame, plate size: 17 1/2" h. x 6 3/4" w.
