Eli Terry, Connecticut tall clock, No. 3397 of Eli Terry's 4,000 clocks made for the Porter Contract, c. 1809, 30 hour wood movement, pull wind, painted wood dial with Masonic symbols in the arch that is identical to the numbered Porter Contract clock in the American Clock and Watch Museum, original-style lead hour and minute hands and steel seconds and calendar hands, original weights, case is pine with an old, dark finish, appears to be complete, including center finial with just minor, repairable break on right scroll.
